Use the editing toolbar to add your text. Please follow these conventions:

Re-enter the title of your page (it makes it easier to read). Use Heading 1 from the Format menu
-
For subheadings in your page, use Heading 2 from the Format menu
-
For text, use Normal from the Format menu
- Avoid changing the fonts so that your page will take on the formatting of the site as a whole
- To add links to webpages(outside the wiki):
- Click the LINK icon
- Linktype: select URL
- URL: enter the URL (without the "http:")
- Link text: type in the text that will link to the external website
- Click OK
- Click SAVE. You have done it!
Updating the Index
We are using the Sidebar as an index to the site. Here you should enter any keywords that people are likely to use in finding information you have entered, especially if the policy/procedure doesn't fit neatly within a single department.
-
In the Sidebar, click Edit.
-
Type in the entry or entries that will link to your page, making sure that that list remains in alphabetical order
-
Highlight the text you typed in.
-
Click the LINK icon
-
Linktype: wikipage
-
Link to WikiPage: find the page you want to link to from the list and select it
-
Link text: Note that this will default to the name of the page to which you are linking. You may not want this. Be sure to type in the text that should appear on the index.
-
Click OK
-
Click Save. Repeat steps for any additional cross-freferences you may want to add to the Index.
